AWA Collaborates with Brazilian Recycler Polpel and Artist Carlos Daniel Bezerra Lauzid to Launch “Bonsai da Vida” Charity Auction at 2026 AWA Global Release Liner Summit in Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Netherlands, March 11–13, 2026 — AWA Alexander Watson Associates (AWA) is proud to announce a special charity initiative taking place during its annual Global Release Liner Summit, held at the Steigenberger Hotel in Amsterdam under the theme “Innovation and Sustainability in the Release Liner Industry”.
As part of AWA’s ongoing commitment to the industry’s sustainability efforts, the Summit will host Polpel, a Brazilian company and Latin America’s leading recycler of release liner materials.
Polpel is donating an original artwork to the event, titled “Bonsai da Vida” (Bonsai of Life), created by renowned Brazilian artist Carlos Daniel Bezerra Lauzid.
About the Artwork: “Bonsai da Vida”
“Bonsai da Vida” is a 33-layer art piece symbolizing the synergy between cosmic inspiration and earthly growth—depicting stars, celestial guardians, hearts, flowers, birds, branching blossoms, and angels—all integrating into a luminous Bonsai that flourishes through admiration and goodwill.
Live Auction & Charity Partnership
During the Summit, AWA will host a live auction of “Bonsai da Vida,” inviting delegates and their companies to bid. All proceeds will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders, reflecting the pursuit of humanitarian compassion alongside environmental excellence.
Delegate Call-to-Action
We invite all participating delegates and companies to secure approval in advance to bid during the auction. This provides a unique opportunity to align corporate social responsibility with summit participation.
